8/2/2007 The fuel storage facility nears completion and a monster AC6000 Southern Pacific unit shows up.
7/8/2007 The crew is back from vacation and other things which took them away from the railroad. They've been working on the fuel storage and loading facilities. They are trying to determine the optimal location on the layout that balances space usage with views and fit.
3/24/2007 A new water tower has been completed and the engineers have been testing out Cardington Yard. They also completed their first movie of the Jersey Subdivision.
3/10/2007 A golden spike ceremony was held. Train #1, led by three Dash 8s (With the 9/11 memorial unit up front) met a pair of Dash 9s, that were being used for the construction, met at the track junction. A golden memorial spike was driven
3/9/2007 A major milestone has been reached, the construction crew has brought the two halves of the layout together into a single structure. This has been almost four years in the making. A couple of Dash8s can be seen dragging the track cleaning car around. Tomorrow will be the official Golden Spike ceremony.
3/5/2007 Construction continues around the intermodal facility. The soda machines have arrived and along with additional lighting and scenery.
